In the continuation to the previous National Level Robot Contests, the Robotics Club, Pulchowk Campus is going to organize the Robocup 2069 to enhance the potential in the emerging technical workforce and to promote creativity utilizing local resources. The Robotics Club plays role as an organizer and a source of information for participating teams. This national event brings together youth from different social, cultural, technical backgrounds to a common platform.
The theme of the contest is to classify the wastes near Bagmati region as degradable and non-degradable; further process the degradable waste into manure and plant a tree in Kathmandu region within a given time limit.

The theme for this edition of the Contest is "Clean Bagmati, Green Kathmandu". This theme emulates the need and the feeling of co-ordination among the robots to clean the wastes in the Bagmati river and make the Kathmandu area more Greener. The robots works together for the Cleanliness and Greenery to signify the brighter future of Nepal.
With the increasing population and rapid deforestation, the pollution has increased and the greenery has vanished. This pollution has had direct impact to the rivers in the country. Different organizations have been playing their active role to conserve and protect the river and enhance greenery through public awareness and projects such as Clean Bagmati, Green Kathmandu. In the pavement of nation building, the robots in Robocup Nepal 2069 are intended to help on such noble deed of environmental conservation by cleaning the Bagmati region and doing plantation in Kathmandu region.
The contest sets its goal to uplift the technical and strategy level of the field of robotics and the associated researchers in the country. Also, it aims to raise public awareness for the environment conservation.
The Robotics Club has been organizing the National Level Robot Contest for past several years, with the support from the Pulchowk Campus and the enthusiastic participation of many engineering colleges on each of the tournaments.
The robots being the drivers of nation, work together while travelling through the terrains to accomplish certain tasks that aid in the process of building a prosperous nation and signifying the brighter future of Nepal.
The contest involved designing robots to create a chariot and show a Bhoto (Nepali traditional vest) at the center of the game field with the collaboration effort of the robots.
The contest involved designing and implementing a robot to play a game that simulated climbing to the summit of the Everest, and cleaning the wastes on the trails as well as transport basic supplies to the camp.
The robots from 14 engineering colleges fought the battle of the machines, shooting down the opponent's pins. Strategy, teamwork and machines are the key elements of the game.
The contest of the robots to play soccer for the first time in the Nepalese history. The 12 teams designed and implemented robots to score maximum goals , competing against the opponents in a game that lasted only three minutes.
